Junior Project Management Office

Our client is a globally operating construction materials retailer based in Bern. We support our customers in filling the position of Junior Project Management Office.

Looking for someone to take on the role of the Innovator! This isn't your typical assistant gig. As the Vice President's right-hand person, you'll be a key player, bringing fresh ideas and helping shape strategies. With your business administration background, you'll work closely with the VP to make decisions and drive innovation. This role offers lots of room to grow personally and professionally. You'll be actively involved in implementing company strategies and making a real impact on the team's success. Your expertise and forward-thinking will be crucial in shaping their company's future.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated and proactive support to the VP by managing their schedule, priorities, and communication
  • As the VP's sparring partner, you handle presentations and contribute to strategic planning
  • Draft and edit executive-level communications, including emails, memos, and reports
  • Act as a liaison between the executive and internal/external clients or connections to ensure clear and effective communication
  • Coordinate logistics for board meetings and stakeholder engagements
  • Prepare materials and documentation for executive presentations
  • Present recommendations at top management meetings
  • Work and coordinate with corporate staff and regional operational areas
  • Coordinate with external entities. Assist in coordinating training, conferences, and networking events for the VP
  • Arrange executive travel plans, accommodations, and itineraries

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience
  •  Advanced proficiency in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with Power BI is desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively represent the executive
  • Strong presentation skills, adept at public speaking, and self-motivated
