Sophia Merkt

Sophia Merkt is a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Coopers Group AG and supports the consulting team in recruiting specialists and executives, especially in the areas of IT and engineering.

Sophia holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources, Marketing and Service Management. Thanks to her dual studies, she gained practical experience within the energy sector during as well as upon finishing her studies.

One thing is crystal clear for Sophia: once she sets her mind to something, she follows through. She is not only committed, but also loyal ­– she volunteers as a counselor at a summer camp, sang in a children's choir and, even after ten years, has not parted ways with her babysitting kids. In general, she has a big heart for children and loves to help them outgrow themselves. She experienced this with herself when she spent time away in Australia after graduating. It was a once in a lifetime experience to see her dream "Down Under" become a reality with a simple click of a buy-button while booking her flight. Admittedly, her choice of snack is a little less exciting: Sophia enjoys green salad without any dressing. When it comes to drinking, however, her taste buds get a bit more of a treat, as she is very fond of Spezi.
