Yasin Gilento

Yasin Gilento, Talent Acquisition Consultant at Coopers Group AG, is part of the Coopers Life Sciences team in Basel. He is responsible for the recruitment and care of specialists in temporary as well as permanent employment.

Yasin started his career in the hospitality industry. He finished his apprenticeship in a hotel and holds a bachelor's degree in international hospitality from the EHL (École hôtelière de Lausanne). Before joining Coopers, he already worked at an international recruitment agency.

Yasin's superpower of choice would be time traveling. He would like to visit the future to see the solutions found to current problems. Generally, he has a pragmatic approach: he would in fact ask a fortune-telling crystal ball how old he will become; he would take a knife, a knife sharpener as well as a knife holster with him to a deserted island; and his motto in life is "it is what it is". But Yasin has a passionate side, too: he genuinely cares about other people; being there for others and helping has always been his dream. That's why he does such a great job in recruiting. His favorite city is Naples – a unique place beyond time and legislation, as he describes it. And that means something, as he grew up there, after all.
