Formulation Process Engineer

m/w/d, Aargau

Location: Aargau

Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities

Delivers the scale-up of formulation processes from lab to full-scale manufacturing, under the
guidance of the Team Leader.
Is part of technology transfer teams for inter-regional transfer or re-siting of products and is the
technical lead in product establishment teams, and a member of the technical start-up team for new
processes and equipment at Syngenta manufacturing sites or tollers.
Designs pilot plant trials and full-scale manufacturing trials - writes operating procedures, trains
operating team, provides technical supervision, documents the outcomes and identifies next steps,
referring to the Team Leader for guidance.
Generates the process design for CP capital projects, under supervision of the Team Leader
Applies formulation engineering processing expertise in order to identify solutions that improve
capacity, quality, and cost efficiency at manufacturing sites and is a member of the project teams
that implement these solutions.

Your background

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry or equivalent professional qualification and /
or relevant experience.
Some relevant experience gained in process development, manufacturing support or as part of a
higher qualification in chemical engineering or a closely related subject.
