Coopers IT Services Strategy Meeting

To define a clear strategy for the future it is necessary to take a step back and look at the big picture. I could not think of a better location for that than far away from our familiar surroundings. When I first learned about the location of our workshop and googled where it is, I was honestly a little surprised. Kemmeriboden-Bad? I have never heard of this place. Google Maps taught me that it is located in the middle of beautiful Emmental (Canton of Bern).

For us as a young and relatively fast growing company, it is essentially important not to lose sight of our long term stategy besides being sucessful in our daily business. For this reason we formed small groups to discuss various topics. In which markets are we present for the moment? How is this going to change in the future? Who are our most important competitors? Which new clients do we want to gain within the year 2016? Are we on the right track with our product portfolio offering ICT Consulting, ICT Engineering and ICT Project Management? Which tools and resources to we need to reach our financial targets? With the input of all participants, we managed to achieve some great results.

During Lunch the Kemmeriboden-Kitchen-Team spoilt us with a delicious Lunch followed by the famous “Emmentaler Meringue” for dessert. Full of energy and very motivated we continued our workshop. In the afternoon, all groups have presented their results in plenary and all ideas were discussed in detail. Many decisions have been taken and a clear strategy for the year of 2016 has been defined. We are looking back to an exciting and sucessful day in beautiful Emmental and we are looking forward to put our strategy in to practice.
