Wel­come at Coopers – Elena D’Cruz

We are very happy to welcome Elena D'Cruz to the Coopers Team!

In her role as Marketing Specialist she is, among other tasks, responsible for the the online marketing and oversees the blog as well as the social media channels.

Elena holds a degree in economics and an economic PhD in the field of marketing/retail management. In addition, she has recruiting experience since she worked as Account Manager at an international recruiting agency before she joined Coopers.

In order to get to know her a little bit better, we asked Elena to select and answer five questions from a list of questions. Let's get to it:

1) Which App or Newsletter do you read regularly?
I love the Newsletter theSkimm, that lands in my inbox on weekdays. News from all around the world are summarized in a concise, smart and fun way. Especially helpful are the background information.

2) What is your favourite ice cream flavour?
A classic: chocolate. (But also Stracciatella. Tough one.)

3) What did you want to become when you where a child?
Kiosk salesperson. Well-placed at the chocolate ice cream, haha.

4) If your life had a soundtrack, which three songs would certainly be on it?
I love music! For sure on it would be, among others: Mando Diao – Bleecker Street; The Cure – Just like heaven; The Killers – Shot at the night

5) What was the best career advice you ever got?
Somebody once told me, it's best to first think about the lifestyle you want. All other (career) decisions follow after that and should support said lifestyle. Worked for me! It's harder the other way around and can reduce one's satisfaction at work as well as in life generally.
