Wel­come to Coopers, dear Dominic!

New year, new colleagues. A warm welcome to Dominic Saxer who joined the Coopers Bern team as Talent Acquisition Specialist in January 2023. He supports the consulting team in recruiting professionals and executives, especially in the IT area.

Dominic holds a certificate in business administration HF. Before joining Coopers, Dominic worked as a project manager in a large Swiss logistics company as well as product manager and customer consultant in the insurance industry.

5 Questions for Dominic

To get to know him a little better, we asked Dominic to answer a few personal questions. Here we go:

1) What did you want to become when you were a child?
My biggest wish was to become a meteorologist. Until today, I find it fascinating how weather phenomena arise and how weather forecasts are made.

2) What is your favourite ice cream flavour?
In hot weather I am very flexible. My favorite is chocolate ice cream or coconut, both best from Gelateria di Berna.

3) You are the host for your friends, what food will you serve?
I love to cook for guests and like to try new things. My focus is to cook dishes that can be prepared well, so I can spend as much time as possible with my guests.

4) What was the best career advice you ever got? 
Life is too short for a job that is not fun.

5) What would you do if you won the lottery?
I would immediately pack my bags and start a trip around the world. After that, I would buy a little house by the sea and, of course, provide financial security for my family.
