The Orangerie Basel is the rear building of the Coopers office at Grellingerstrasse. We at Coopers truly enjoy using it for internal meetings and events. Since Summer 2023 we also rent it out to external guests. The Orangerie Basel is a unique venue, that makes every event extraordinary – business as well as private.

Located in the Gellert district, the Orangerie Basel is close to the city center, yet offers plenty of peace and privacy. The open architecture makes the Orangerie so unique – a loft-like atelier feeling with a total of 170 sqm across two levels. The complementing modern, minimalistic interior allows ample space for your thoughts and ideas.

One House – Many Possibilities

Warm wooden elements, premium furniture and plenty of natural light define the charm of the Orangerie. The Orangerie becomes what you make of it.

We have six areas available, from the ABC Room, the Loft Area to the well-maintained garden. Here is a detailed overview of all rooms and capacities.

Business Events: The Right Place for Important Decisions

From meetings, workshops to celebrations. The Orangerie Basel provides the ideal setting for your corporate events. Modern technical equipment is available and included in the rent (Wifi, beamer, screen and video conference equipment, presenter's case, flipchart, pin board and whiteboard). You need additional equipment? No problem, just let us know and we will find a solution.

Private Events: Something to Celebrate? Then Absolutely Celebrate!

Special moments deserve to be celebrated properly. Whether seated at a banquet table, standing at an apéro or flying dinner – the Orangerie Basel is the ideal venue for private events such as birthdays, family celebrations, christenings, wedding ceremonies, banquets and much more.

We are happy to support your coordination and organization with our partner companies Bisskid Catering, Vinaiolo, and The Deco Atelier.

Cultural Events: Art, Photography & Recreation

The airy, sophisticated atmosphere and minimalistic interior make the Orangerie Basel the ideal venue for cultural events such as photo shoots, art exhibitions, yoga workshops, and much more. The Orangerie becomes what you make of it – just like our befriended artist from Basel, Tizian Aellig, who had his vernissage here in Summer 2023.
