Coopers Christmas Dinner 2017
It is a Coopers tradition to start the evening of our Christmas dinner at the Christmas Market in Basel. We all gathered raised our glasses surrounded by Santa Clauses and illuminated reindeer. At this point in time we still had no idea which restaurant we were going to and what we would be doing beforehand.
We walked up to the Basel Münster and climbed down the stairs to the small ferry. Usually the ferry takes people from one side of the river to the other. What a wonderful surprise to enjoy a private apéro on the ferry whilst the Christmas lights on the Mittlere Brücke and the cathedral glittered in the background.
After the apéro we made our way to the restaurant Acqua. The romantic atmosphere in this industrial place impressed us all and the food was outstanding. It was time for another Coopers Christmas tradition: Secret Santa. All of us received a present from one of our colleagues and everyone had made a special effort to think of something original. It was great fun!
The evening slowly came to an end, and we are all already looking forward to our Christmas surprise in 2018. You will find the photos from our Christmas Dinner here below. Have fun looking through them!
