Industrielle Werke Basel (IWB) has launched a public tender for recruiting mandates in accordance with GATT/WTO guidelines. The recruitment includes commercial, technical and ICT IT professions across all hierarchy levels (executive management, upper, middle and lower management as well as specialists). The duration of the mandates lasts 4 years with an option to extend.
Coopers Group AG is excited about winning all 3 lots. This means that we will be recruiting for IWB starting from the end of March 2021. Lot 1 (commercial professions) includes, for example, positions in marketing, finance, HR, purchasing/logistics or digital business; lot 2 (technical professions) positions for management functions in construction or engineering; lot 3 (ICT IT professions) includes, among others, ICT technical specialists, ICT staff or ICT management functions.

Great, an exclusive mandate. Does that mean Coopers was the only agency to win the bid?
CB: That's right. A total of three lots were put out for tender and we managed to win all three! This means that we now have the opportunity to provide IWB with comprehensive support in its search for specialists.
What does this success mean for the Basel branch?
CB: This is another milestone for our Basel location. We have grown very strongly in recent years and have been able to steadily expand our service portfolio as well as our customer base. Now follows the acceptance from IWB – we are truly excited about this partnership.
