Welcome at Coopers – Jessica Arber
As mentioned already, we would like to introduce our two new colleagues here on the Coopers blog. We'll start the introduction round with Jessica Arber. Welcome Jessi, it's great to have you with us.
Jessica works as a Talent Acquisition Trainee and supports the IT and Engineering team in Basel with the recruitment of specialists and executives. Jessica is a true career changer: as a studied archaeologist, she was not digging for suitable candidates before, but has excavated everything from bones to ancient remains. Both disciplines require tact, perseverance, and the right instinct. We are excited that Jessi is adding her skills to our team.
5 Questions for Jessica
To get to know her a little better, we asked Jessica to select and answer five questions from a list of questions. Here we go:
1) What is your favourite ice cream flavor?
Basil. Sounds weird, I know, but it tastes very refreshing!
2) Do you play an instrument? If yes, which one?
I play several instruments, but only one really well: the piccolo. Since I was seven, I've been actively involved with it in a Carnival clique here in Basel.
3) You are the host for your friends, what food will you serve?
That varies a lot. But there's always an aperitif, a main course and dessert. Last time, for example, we had pollo fino braised in tomato sauce with wild rice and salad, and homemade cantuccini with mascarpone cream for dessert.
4) Which country do you absolutely want to travel to one day?
Japan has been high on my list for a long time!
5) If you were to meet a famous personality (dead or alive) – whom would you want to meet and what would you ask her or him?
Jack Black. And not because I have a specific question. Rather, I think he's a very funny guy and it would be a brilliant day with him.
Anyone who wants to know even more about Jessica should contact her directly.
Here is Jessica's contact information.
We hope you continue to have a great start at Coopers, Jessica!
