Coopers Kick-Off 2023

It was a full house at the Basel office last Thursday. For our internal kick-off 2023 event all colleagues came together, also from Berne and Gland.

Not just a company.

The day was a very special date: The 13th birthday of Coopers Group AG! Christian Biedermann, Managing Director of Coopers, reflects: " Sometimes I have to pinch myself when I stand in front of the whole team. It is so rewarding to see all the great people working here, giving Coopers a face. I'm proud of where we are, but I have a lot planned and am looking forward to that journey.” Denise Stuker, Operations Director, agrees “I could not agree more, one has to experience the Coopers spirit to fully understand it. Here, really everyone is in good company.”

The day was also Claudia De Vito's birthday – and her last day at Coopers. Claudia started at Coopers three years ago in recruiting, took over several marketing tasks and then the key role of our internal recruiting. She has always enjoyed bringing the right people into the company and we thank her dearly for her tireless efforts. We wish her lots of fun in her well-deserved time off and a smooth start in her new job. Fortunately, her new office is very close to ours, so the first lunch dates are already set. After all, once a Cooper, always a Cooper.

Not just work.

After our meeting, we met for a nice Apéro in the Coopers kitchen, as we had plenty of reasons for a toast: a total of 13 employees started the new year with a promotion, and two anniversaries that are due this year were also honored. Congratulations to everyone! 

Afterwards, we went for a delicious fondue at the Hotel Merian. We enjoyed a glass of wine or two and cheese fondue in good company, with amusing conversations and with a view of the Rhine sparkling at night.
