Christian Biedermann

Christian Biedermann is the founder and Managing Director of the Coopers Group and Chairman of the Board of Coopers Group AG. He holds a TU-HSG degree from the University of St. Gallen, a CAS in Board Governance (CAS VR HSG) and a Swiss Federal Diploma in Business Administration (HF).

With Coopers, Christian has built a Swiss group of companies specializing in the placement of specialists and executives and the deployment of external experts. The group includes Coopers Consulting & Solutions AG, which deploys its own employed IT experts, and the Coopers Executive brand for leadership and board appointments. Christian is also the founder of ProcWise, a Swiss platform for sourcing and managing external talent and services. His focus lies on the strategic development of the group, a corporate culture that is truly lived, and long-term client relationships.

Before founding Coopers, Christian spent more than seven years at an international staffing company. As Area Head for German-speaking Switzerland and Branch Director, he was responsible for building up and developing the Information Technology business line. He began his career as a consultant for information technology and engineering at an internationally active placement boutique.

Funfacts about Chris

The glass is always half full for Christian. His positive, humorous and caring personality motivates the entire Coopers team. Chris is always on the road exploring the world with his family; Lhasa in Tibet is at the top of the list. His absolute favorite city is Cape Town with the amazing people, colors, light, smell, food and wine. Simply everything. If he could choose a superpower, he would love to travel in time, especially into the future. Some of Chris' reading recommendations, maybe for the journey into the future, are Start with Why by Simon Sinek and The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon and The Book Thief by Markus Zusak for all the romantics out there (including himself).
