Coopers + iET

As most of you probably know, Coopers has acquired the Zurich-based IT recruiting agency iET SA. You can read all about the acquisition here.

This marks the start of a new chapter for both Coopers and iET. One that we are writing together. And as it usually is, stories are mainly written on interpersonal levels. That is why the first joint team meeting in November was eagerly awaited by everyone. All the teams from Zurich, Basel, Bern, and Gland came together at the Orangerie Basel. After the monthly business unit updates, a glimpse into the medium-term future plans and other business-related topics, we all took the time to enjoy an apéro together in the "new large crowd".

The atmosphere was immediately relaxed, cheerful and very collegial. It goes without saying that we are all part of the Coopers Family. We exchanged ideas, laughed a lot and climbed many stairs as we toured the Basel office.

This day in November has shown that we are all on the same wavelength and pursue recruiting with the same values – namely putting people at the center of our work. We do not blindly push CVs back and forth, we do not place anyone where they do not fit in. And we strive for long-term partnerships at eye level – also between Coopers and the iET.

The first joint team meeting set the perfect groundwork for this. Coopers founders Christian Biedermann and Denise Stuker agree: "The acquisition was an unknown and long process for us. At times, it demanded a lot of perseverance. But once we met the iET team, we knew we were on the right track. Coopers and iET belong together," says Denise. Chris adds: "The recruiting industry does not always have the best reputation. There are black sheep who damage the business. However, with iET we have so much in common: we are owner-managed Swiss recruiting agencies, share the same goals and operate with the same values. This motivated us and has given us a lot of energy over the last few months. The successful conclusion and to see how well the first meeting with everyone went fills me with both relief and pride." Denise: "We would like to thank everyone for their openness, flexibility and support. Both during the acquisition process and now during the integration."
