Workation is not new at Coopers. Workation is a benefit that combines vacation vibes with everyday work life – from sandy beaches to lunch hikes in the mountains, depending on where you have decided to go. Workation is exciting, inspiring, and, motivating.
At Coopers, we firmly believe that life is not only about work. Encouraging a healthy work-life-balance is key to maintain high performance levels of our employees. Providing them with a chance juggle travel and work, fosters their personal as well as professional growth. Moreover, it strengthens the bond between employer and employee, which we value a lot.
We want to share some of our employee’s experiences with workation – starting with Giulia Viadana, who works as Talent Acquisition Specialist in our MSP team.
Giulia, where did you spend your workation?
I have spent my workation in sunny Spain.
How long did you stay?
I added one week of workation to my holidays.
What was the biggest benefit for you?
For me, the biggest benefit was the possibility to stay a little longer after having acclimatized. And working with a view was really amazing.
What challenges did you encounter?
Upon setting everything up, I briefly struggled a bit with the internet connection. Luckily, after two hours everything was fine and worked smoothly for the remaining time.
Would (or will) you do it again?
Absolutely!
What would you do differently – or in other words: What advice do you have for everyone planning a workation?
Do it more often :)
