Business Transformation Project Manager
m/f/d, Zürich
For our client in the defense industry in Zurich (Fully remote within EU, with an EU-citizenship), we are looking for an experienced CMMC Business Transformation Project Manager.
In this role you will be involved working closely with the CMMC Program Lead to ensure successful compliance and obtain the necessary CMMC Certification.

Your tasks:
- Lead the transformation part of compliance with CMMC/DFARS requirements – mapping data and process flow, setting up roles and responsibilities, propose new target operating model, propose new ways of working and update processes and SOPs, ensure that business documents (i.e. policies) are updated and adopted, and that people are trained
- Communicate and engage with stakeholders and users to ensure a seamless adoption to the compliance
- Align with IT and IS (information security) and support their activities (i.e. scoping)
- Lead Change Impact Assessments for users, business-wide
- Lead all training activities
- Ensure that facilities (sites) are compliant with the regulation
- Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders across business and program, including engineering, manufacturing, project management, sales, procurement, IT, cybersecurity, legal
- Work closely with the Program Lead and other workstreams to align project objectives with the overall CMMC program goals
Your profile:
- Extensive project and change management expertise with 15+ years leading complex programs and business transformations across global organizations
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST, DFARS) and hands-on experience with audits and their impact on business processes and operating models
- Proven collaboration with IT functions (infrastructure, network, cloud, applications) and business units to drive aligned project delivery
- Industry experience in engineering and manufacturing, with a deep understanding of operational challenges and process integration
- Leadership in process improvement and policy implementation across sales, procurement, engineering, and manufacturing functions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams in remote environments
- Strategic and adaptive mindset, capable of navigating change, developing contingency plans, and driving adoption across diverse teams and time zones
- Fluency in English
- Security relevant function: Excellent, clean personal record is required
