CMMC Compliance Manager

m/w/d, Zürich Grossraum

For our client in the defense industry in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced CMMC Compliance Manager.

This role is responsible for driving compliance implementation, ensuring business adoption, and managing the impacts on the Target Operating Model (TOM). The position requires expertise in NIST and CMMC requirements, as well as a comprehensive understanding of varied IT functions. A key focus is transitioning IT, Information Security (IS), and business personnel into new, sustainable ways of working while maintaining continuous improvement and compliance.

Your tasks:

  • Oversee Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) data flow across the U.S. and Europe, mapping its integration into business processes, roles, and applications
  • Develop and implement global and local policies and guidance, ensuring business review, approval, and localized execution
  • Conduct impact analyses of new policies on TOM and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Define and document "To Be" business processes, identifying gaps in meeting CMMC requirements and implementing solutions
  • Lead change impact assessments across people, IT, vendors, and processes, facilitating smooth transitions
  • Design and deliver engagement and training programs to support new ways of working and drive compliance with CMMC requirements across all facilities
  • This role is critical in ensuring a structured, compliant, and efficient transition, leveraging expertise in business transformation to align operations with regulatory standards

Your profile:

  • Extensive experience in audit preparation, business transformation, and project management, with at least 20 years of leadership in these areas
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • End-to-end knowledge of organizational functions, including sales, procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and quality
  • Ability to assess complex security and compliance challenges, design solutions, and drive sustainable improvements aligned with business objectives
  • Ethical decision-making and regulatory adherence, ensuring policies and processes uphold CMMC standards
  • Fluency in English
  • Security relevant function: Excellent, clean personal record is required
