The second edition of the Coopers Life Sciences Circle is behind us. And what an evening it was.

A fully booked Orangerie Basel, two sharp speakers, and exactly the kind of conversations that make these evenings worth building. A photo gallery from the evening is available below.

What we explored: Regulatory Affairs

Martin King challenged the traditional notion of audit readiness and made the case for resilience as a continuous state – not a momentary one.

Matthias Pohl brought the pharma operations perspective, exploring how regulators are transforming and what system trust means in practice. Both converged on a point that sparked real discussion: AI is neither the saviour nor the threat it is often made out to be.

Stay tuned: In-depth articles on both key notes will soon follow on the Coopers Blog and on our LinkedIn profile.

What our guests say

The feedback speaks for itself: the event scored 4.9 out of 5 overall, the organisation a perfect 5.0, and the Orangerie Basel as hosting location 4.9. Every respondent made valuable new contacts – and every one would come back.

Save the date

The next Coopers Life Sciences Circle takes place on 22 October 2026. We will share the lead topic, soon. Registration is open.

Thank you to Martin King and Matthias Pohl, and to everyone who joined us, asked questions, and stayed for the conversations. Also a warm thank you to our Life Sciences team for acquiring such great speakers and guests as well as to our Marketing team for bringing the idea to life.

See you in October.
