Presentation at the IT Procurement Day 2025 in Zurich with an attentive audience in a modern event location.

This year marked the second edition of our Coopers IT Procurement Day – and true to the motto “From buyers. For buyers.” we were once again excited to welcome numerous professionals from procurement and related fields in Zurich.

Alongside insightful presentations, the day was all about reconnecting and exchanging ideas. We were especially happy to see so many familiar faces from the first ITPD and to pick up the conversations right where we left off.

Whether over coffee, during breaks or at lunch – the atmosphere was open, dynamic and shaped by genuine curiosity.

This was also impressively reflected in the feedback: over 94% of participants stated that they had made valuable new contacts – a clear sign of the high quality of the exchange and the relevance of the topics. Particularly pleasing: more than 80% would like to take part again next year. These figures confirm our approach and motivate us to further expand the IT Procurement Day and focus even more strongly on the needs of our community.

With an average overall rating of 4.6, 4.8 for the location at 25hours Hotel Zürich Langstrasse, and a fantastic 4.94 for the organization, the second ITPD clearly lived up to expectations. Thanks so much for the great feedback!

Practice Insights – Thanks to our Speakers

A big thank you to our speakers, who brought fresh ideas and perspectives to the table. Practical, relevant, and full of inspiration:

  • Marcus Kutzner on using AI in procurement – between hype and reality
  • Peter Stock with insights into the psychology of negotiation
  • Carsten Brodte on agile methods in procurement – clear and to the point
  • Kristian Borkert, who explored Made in Switzerland, bound by EU law? and AI compliance in international procurement
  • Ariane Baer on employer branding and how to attract external experts

Thanks again for your valuable contributions – and of course to all participants for joining the conversation and sharing your input.

It is often not just the presentations that make an event memorable, it is the people and the conversations in between. The relaxed summer evening in Zurich gave us just the right setting to wrap up the day: great talks, new connections and familiar faces, with discussions that often went beyond the purely professional. Our gallery below captures it well.

Some voices from the audience:

I like the diversity of the presentations (legal aspects, trends, best practices, etc.).

Very successful and interesting event!

Thanks to Christian, Elena, Adrian and the whole team (including the busy photographer ;-) ) for the great job. There is nothing like valuable, interpersonal (business) contacts !!!

Thank you very much! You did a great job!!!

Keep up the good work!

I'm looking forward to next year

Thank You!

We truly appreciate the openness and loyalty of our participants – and the strong relationships we are building: across disciplines, across roles, and above all, from person to person. Because in the end, it is people that make the difference.

A big thank you also goes out to our internal organizing team with Christian, Adrian, Irina, Jasmin, and Elena for making it all run so smoothly behind the scenes.

We are already looking forward to the next IT Procurement Day in 2026!
