Procurement Day 2026
MSP, VMS, Planning Poker, AI, and Snowflake Data Cloud
from Dr. Elena D’Cruz
17. June 2026
The Coopers Procurement Day has grown. Still guided by the motto From Buyers. For Buyers. we deliberately opened the 2026 event to new industries. The high demand (we were fully booked) and the day itself showed just how great the need for genuine, substantive exchange in procurement is. Despite different industries and areas of focus, there was one shared drive: to help shape the procurement of tomorrow.
It was particularly encouraging for us to see that many participants were joining us for the second or third time alongside new participants. This created a sense of community with a familiar, open atmosphere that carried through from the sessions into the networking breaks, the shared lunch and all the way to the relaxed apéro.
The procurement community rated the Procurement Day 2026 accordingly:
- 100 % of participants were able to make valuable new contacts
- 100 % consider to join the Procurement Day 2027 on 08.04.2027 again
- the average overall rating was 4.4 out of 5 points
- the location received 4.7 points
- the organization received 4.7 points
Industry Insights
We would like to thank our outstanding speakers! From MSP and VMS to Planning Poker, the ever-present topic of AI, and a live demo of Snowflake, we heard practical insights and real-world experiences:
- Manuel Schütz (Swisscom) on the further development and realignment of the MSP provider in contracting
- Kristian Borkert (JURIBO) with an interactive Planning Poker simulation to reach award decisions in a gamified way
- Nicole Knoblauch (Knoblauch Consulting) on Workforce 4.0 in Switzerland, the evolution of VMS solutions from Excel to AI
- Oliver Kahle (Georg Fischer AG) on the thesis "Future digital. Success human.", which sees people as the key factor in digital transformation
- Philipp Rosenauer (PwC) on legal aspects of procuring AI tools
- Andreas Paul & Marcel Daeppen (Snowflake) on AI-supported procurement processes
Thank you for your commitment and openness in sharing your insights.
Some voices from the audience:
Great. I'll recommend it to others.
You're all doing a fantastic job, and thank you very much. I'd be happy to attend another Procurement Day if timing allows.
A very successful event. Thank you.
Thank you very much for Oliver Kahle’s inspiring presentation. His approach “Digital Future. Human Success” resonates deeply thanks to his personal career journey and is thoroughly convincing. I would be delighted to attend more of his presentations in the future.
Thank You and See You Next Time
Many thanks to our internal organizing team with Christian, Adrian, Irina, Jasmin, and Elena for their great work. Also to the attentive team of the 25hours hotel team.
And last but not least: a big thank you to all participants! For your time, questions, inputs and engagement. Because that is what turns a conference like this into such an interactive, expert community event. And we are convinced: that is exactly how, together, we can shape the procurement of tomorrow.
We are all the more excited to look forward to Thursday, April 8, 2027, when Procurement Day 2027 will take place. As usual at the 25hours Hotel Zürich Langstrasse. Registration is now open on our website. We very much look forward to welcoming familiar faces as well as fresh perspectives from new participants.
See you then (at the latest)
