The role involves planning and executing projects, managing timelines and milestones, identifying risks and roadblocks, coordinating internal teams and external suppliers, and reporting project status to stakeholders. The position also supports product launches, collaborates with U.S.-based teams, and may take on managerial responsibilities as a deputy to the supervisor.

The ideal candidate has an Engineering degree, at least 5 years of experience in project management and/or medical device development, excellent German and English skills, strong leadership and communication abilities, and preferably a Project Management certification.

Location: Oberdorf

Contract duration: until 31.12.2026/possible extension

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading product development projects from concept through product launch
  • Responsible for creating, monitoring, and maintaining project plans
  • Identifying critical paths, project risks, and roadblocks, and proposing corrective actions
  • Preparing and presenting project status reports and presentations
  • Collaborating with internal service providers and external suppliers Description of Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop project plans in collaboration with the project team
  • Manage the execution of project plans together with the project team
  • Work with internal service providers and external suppliers to ensure project progress
  • Responsible for meeting project plans and milestones on time
  • Report on project progress and status
  • Escalation of critical issues
  • Identify critical paths, project risks, and roadblocks, and work with the project team to develop solutions
  • Support product launch and market introduction activities
  • Collaborate with U.S.-based project management teams and project teams
  • Manage particularly complex and strategically significant projects within the division
  • Act as deputy for the supervisor and assume managerial responsibilities when required
  • Understand and comply with policies regarding the Code of Conduct, Ethics & Compliance programs, and other relevant regulations. Qualifications / Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Medical Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field)
  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and/or the development of medical devices
  • Project Management certification is preferred
  • Strong facilitation, influencing, and leadership skills
