For our client Roche in Rotkreuz, we are looking for an MSAT Product and Process Science Engineer to support product care, process improvements and data-driven manufacturing activities in a regulated production environment.
In this role, you will work closely with production, engineering, quality and other internal stakeholders to ensure robust manufacturing processes for highly integrated sensor and cartridge products. The position offers the opportunity to combine scientific expertise, hands-on process understanding and data-driven problem solving in an agile MSAT environment.

Your Tasks:
- Take responsibility for regular product care activities within the squad
- Handle non-conformity notifications and support investigations
- Lead root cause analyses and coordinate corrective actions in the manufacturing process
- Implement process changes in accordance with internal requirements
- Work according to internal processes in a GxP-regulated environment
- Monitor production data and analyze key production performance indicators
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sensor production process
- Support production operators as a Subject Matter Expert during the ramp-up of a newly established production line
- Plan and execute experiments, including DoEs, in laboratory and production environments for investigations and product improvements
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external partners
Your Skills:
- University degree in Electrochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Technical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
- First experience in a highly regulated production environment
- First experience with GxP
- Experience with statistical analysis or data science
- Ability to apply a programming language such as Python or R in a practical setting
- Adaptive and autonomous team player with the ability for self-reflection
- Open and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to actively foster collaboration
- Interest in agile methodologies and project management techniques
- Strategic thinking and the ability to set concrete objectives with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Fluent English skills
- German skills at minimum B2 level
Nice to Have:
- Professional experience in a highly regulated industry, ideally in the pharmaceutical or medical device sector
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and/or Lean methodology
- Previous experience in an agile framework such as Scrum, Kanban or agile teams
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of chemical laboratory processes
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as screen printing or dispensing
- Experience with databases such as SQL or Snowflake
- Experience with software-related projects
