This position is required to strengthen packaging engineering capacity for PPWR-related activities, packaging data management, portfolio screening, and cross-functional project execution. The role will act as a key interface between Packaging Development and its stakeholders, potentially involving SPS, Biologicals, F&P, testing activities.

Your responsibilies

  • Ensures that all operations under direct control comply with our clients Health, Safety & Environment policies (CHMU-SID-0122, CHMU-SID-0282) and conform to the legal standard
  • Acts as a role model in the area of responsibility
  • Contributes to collaboration and interaction with other PT&E groups (Analytical, Application, Formulation Development, Formulation Engineering) and Logistics to support delivering the best product experience for customers
  • Engages with external collaborators, including universities and suppliers, to support the application of science and technology
  • Begins contributing to solving business challenges with guidance
  • Prioritize tasks independently, managing time to meet deadlines
  • Show initiative in identifying resource needs and seeking support as required
  • Estimate project costs, evaluate supplier bids and monitor costs against budget
  • Follow standard operational excellence procedures and participate in improvement initiatives within their scope of work
  • Coordinate specific project components, collaborating with team members to ensure timely completion
  • Monitor progress against defined milestones, identify potential issues and propose solutions
  • Define packaging qualification protocols, execute qualification studies, recommend acceptance criteria under supervision
  • Apply fill & pack knowledge to packaging design work, identify when to consult Fill & Pack Engineers and collaborate with them on joint packaging/filling activities
  • Creates and maintains elements for packaging in the master data management systems, through its lifecycle, provides feedback for improvement and guides and supports other users of packaging data management systems
  • Follows established packaging quality control procedures and guidelines, performing quality checks on filled and packed products to ensure compliance with specification and reports any deviation or non-conformities

Your Profil:

  • Degree(Bsc,MSc,diploma) in Packaging Engineering or equivalent professional qualification and/ or relevant experience
  • Understanding of packaging development processes and knowledge relevant to the role across the industry with ideally experience of 3-5 years
  • Strong data management capability
  • English min. C1, German is a advantage
  • Successfully leading pack development projects
  • Experience in applying cross-functional stakeholder management at a local level
  • Project coordination skills to maintain overview, ensure interconnection between workstreams, and support compliant implementation of packaging-related requirements
