Our Talentor International Partnership + Interview with Samu

Recruiting is a diverse job. As recruiters, we connect people to help them grow – in their careers, in their entrepreneurial activities, or in other ways. At Coopers, we focus on recruitment in Switzerland, specifically on recruiting in Basel, in Bern and in Gland. Being a Swiss company, Swissness characterizes our work; among other things, Swissness stands for high quality, a strong service-orientation and for reliability. That is something we offer whenever we recruit employees in the IT, engineering, and life sciences sectors. These industries have an international flair, especially the executive search for middle and senior management positions. We highly regard our local presence here in Switzerland, yet, we value the inspiration and strength that comes from working in an international environment. To do that justice, we joined the global Talentor International network a little over two years ago.

Coopers Group AG: The Swiss Talentor International Partner

Talentor is an international network for executive search and recruiting. It currently includes 34 partners (one agency per country). In 2020, we, Coopers, took over the exclusive representation of Talentor in Switzerland – and we have not regretted it for one second. Being a Talentor partner allows us to deepen our local know-how as a Swiss company, while also establishing a global reach. After all, talent and business opportunities don't stop at national borders – especially not in our international industries. With the tight Talentor network, we can meet recruiting needs beyond Swiss borders.
The advantages for our clients: We can extend our trustful cooperation to other markets. Either directly with us or with one of our reliable partner agencies. Moreover, in international job searches, we collaborate across all 34 countries and thus have a wide reach/candidate pool.
How our candidates can profit: Moving one's career abroad naturally comes with some challenges. With the Talentor network, we have the right contacts to support international career development wherever we can.

Shared values: More humanity in recruiting

An important criterion for our membership in the Talentor network was and is the common set of values. Everyone who knows us knows that our recruiting processes focus on people. All our Talentor partners share that value.

This sense of humanity is also reflected internally in our network. With monthly partner calls, collaborations in various practice groups and joint projects*, we are in frequent exchange. Highlights are the personal meetings that take place twice a year. This year, we already joined the summit in Riga, Latvia in March and several of us are looking forward to meeting Talentor colleagues in Rome, Italy in September.

We want to give everyone a chance to meet our Talentor consultants and get to know the network better. So, from now on, every month a partnering country will publish a short interview with a member of their team. The Coopers Group took over June and to get things started, we have asked our Talent Acquisition Consultant Samrawit Isaak three questions.
