Python Engineer (Data & Cloud Platforms)

Your Responsibilities:

Software Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable software solutions using Python
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from requirements and design through deployment and production support
• Develop and maintain REST APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-native services
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and high-quality code

Cloud & Operations

• Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Implement monitoring, alerting, observability, and data quality controls
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system stability, scalability, and performance

Collaboration & Architecture

• Collaborate with product owners, data stewards, source system teams, and business stakeholders
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement
• Support business-critical applications and data products

Your Profile:

• Strong experience in Python software development
• Experience building, deploying, and operating production-grade applications
• Solid understanding of software engineering, OOP, testing, and CI/CD
• Experience with REST APIs and microservice architectures
• Knowledge of GCP and cloud-native development
• Experience with Git-based development workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Apache Beam or large-scale data processing is a plus
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, or other Infrastructure as Code and containerization technologies is a plus
• Knowledge of GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted software development is a plus
• Fluent in English
