For our client in the logistics industry in Bern, we are looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Senior Software Engineer (AI-Enabled Software Delivery).

This position is ideal for someone with a solid engineering foundation and practical experience leveraging Generative AI in daily development workflows. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality software and guiding teams to effectively integrate AI-driven development practices in a pragmatic and outcome-oriented way.

Deine Aufgaben:

Design, develop, maintain, and enhance modern software solutions in agile development environments
Apply Generative AI tools effectively throughout the software development lifecycle
Support teams in adopting AI-assisted development practices while maintaining high engineering standards
Ensure software quality, security, maintainability, reliability, and correctness across all deliverables
Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and continuous integration and deployment processes
Identify opportunities to improve engineering effectiveness and developer productivity
Analyze and optimize existing development workflows and software delivery processes
Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, product owners, and other stakeholders
Contribute to the definition and implementation of software engineering best practices
Support the stable and efficient delivery of software solutions within modern DevOps environments

Dein Profil:

Several years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or in a similar hands-on engineering role
Strong background in modern software engineering and software delivery practices
Proven practical experience using Generative AI tools in everyday software development work
Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, and collaborative development methodologies
Strong understanding of software quality, security, maintainability, and engineering best practices
Ability to apply AI-assisted development in a structured, pragmatic, and responsible way
Delivery-oriented mindset with a focus on practical solutions and measurable outcomes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and agile teams
Very good English language skills; additional languages are considered an advantage
