For our client in Zurich, we are looking for an Senior Java Engineer.

You will join a team of engineers responsible for building processes and interfaces that connect our client's digital asset solutions with its core banking platform. Your work will enable seamless synchronization between digital assets and core banking operations.

Your Responsibilities:

Develop and implement new features and improvements by writing and reviewing high-quality, secure code with comprehensive test coverage
Develop and maintain integrations between digital asset solutions and core banking systems across different business domains
Drive the scalability and reliability of booking processes
Design and maintain API-based features, including balance retrieval, account transfers, payments, trading and messaging
Ensure seamless synchronization between digital asset solutions and core banking operations
Continuously improve the quality and security of applications and identify and address technical debt
Respond promptly to production incidents and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and restore service continuity
Contribute to the overall scalability, quality and reliability of the systems

Your Profile:

Several years of professional experience as a Senior Java Engineer
Strong expertise in Java 21+
Strong experience with Quarkus or Spring
Solid experience with RDBMS, ideally PostgreSQL
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
Experience in developing and maintaining API-based applications
Strong understanding of software quality, security and automated testing
Experience with production support and troubleshooting in complex environments
Very good command of English
